Lyra has been enrolled in SFCM precollege program studying piano and cello since 8. She started learning piano at 4 and cello at 5. Her first two years of cello learning was mostly through online lessons due to Covid. She is currently studying with Vicky Wang and Elliot Mallard. Lyra won first prize in 9th ENKOR string competition and Charleston 2024 Spring competition. She has also won several piano competitions.
