Tiffany Chan | 2nd prize | Strings | 10th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Tiffany Chan, 17, is a passionate and accomplished musician. She began her formal music education at 9 with piano and started cello at 10, learning at Bratsche Art in Taiwan. In 2022, Tiffany relocated to California, where she continues to pursue her musical dreams.

She is currently a junior at Kathleen MacDonald High School and a student in the pre-college division of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM), studying cello under Amos Yang. She also receives mentorship from Lana Houng, former Principal Cellist of Taiwan’s National Symphony Orchestra.

Tiffany made her solo concerto debut in December 2020, performing Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C Major, and has since earned numerous awards in cello, piano, chamber music, and orchestral performance. She currently serves as the SFCM Pre-College New Millennium Ensemble's principal cellist and has been a Stanford Summer Symphony member since 2023.

Beyond competitions and performances, Tiffany is deeply committed to sharing the joy of music with her community. She regularly performs for senior living communities, using her talents to connect with others and bring comfort and inspiration through music.
