Ellie Ahn is currently studying under Christina Smith. She is a member of Atlanta Youth Symphony Orchestra and she was the principal flutist of the MYSO Philharmonic and the winner of its concerto competition in 2023. This year she was selected as one of 3 Georgia Governor's Honors Program Flute Finalist. Last summer she attended the Tanglewood Music Camp. She was the state winner of the MTNA Junior Competition. She performed at the FFA Convention as a winner of the high school master class competition. In the 2023 year, she won the Atlanta Flute Club’s Junior Artist Competition. She has been in the Wesleyan School Marching Band, directed by Jeff Foster, since seventh grade. She also loves to sing classical music.
