Zheng Tingyue studied under Professor Luo Tianqi and Dr. Wang Yuyan from the Department of Modern Instrumental Percussion at Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
In 2019, she was awarded the title of "Chinese Music Little Golden Bell" at the 7th National Solo Exhibition and ranked first in the percussion group. In 2020, she won the second prize in the Youth Group of the Shanghai IPEA Percussion Elite Competition for the Philharmonic Small Army Drum and the second prize in the Youth Group of the Philharmonic Marimba. In 2023, she won the second prize in the World Percussion D category at the Swedish International Music Competition. In 2023, she recorded Jia Daqun's large-scale symphonic concerto suite "Pear Garden" with the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra. She participated in the 2023 7th IPEA International Percussion Festival multimedia large-scale percussion symphonic poem ""The Call of Sigang Li - Dialogue between Authenticity and Avant Garde"" with the Shanghai Conservatory of Music Percussion Orchestra
Ranked second in the Duet Performance Group at the 2024 IPEA Percussion Elite Annual Exhibition. 2024 Universal Marimba Competition & Festival Belgium Duet Professional Group Semifinalist. She participates in the ""Shanghai Spring"" Music Festival special concert and the Nanyun National Color New Media Concert with the Ethnic Orchestra of Shanghai Conservatory of Music every year. Has performed multiple times at Shanghai Conservatory of Music, He Luting Concert Hall, Jaguar Shanghai Symphony Hall, Cadillac Shanghai Concert Hall, Shanghai Oriental Art Center, Jiangsu Grand Theatre, Hangzhou Theatre, Hangzhou Grand Theatre, Canal Grand Theatre, and other venues.
