Triade Trio is a chamber ensemble formed within the Valley Christian School Chamber Ensemble program, consisting of three dedicated young musicians who share a deep passion for collaborative performance.
The trio is composed of Ashlyn Choi (flute 16), Ryan Beiter (clarinet 18), and Jason Ham (piano 15)
Flutist Ashlyn Choi is an Associate Regional Director of the Back to Bach Project and has earned first prizes in the Bellagrande, London Young Musician, and IYMC competitions.She has also received awards from KAMSA and the USOMC, and her recent performance invitations include the Junior Bach Festival and participation in the 2025 California All-State High School Wind Symphony.
Clarinetist Ryan Beiter is currently a student attending the SFCM pre-college and a member of the SF Symphony Youth Orchestra. He has participated in programs such as the California All-State and Santa Clara County Honor Band and also attended the MPulse Clarinet Institute and the BUTI Young Artists Wind Ensemble.
Jason Soomin Ham is the 1st Place Winner of numerous prestigious piano competitions including being the gold medalist of the International Manhattan Competition and the 1st Place as well as Virtuoso Pianist Award Winner of the Miami International Music Competition. He is also a Conservatory Honors Fellow at Valley Christian High School.
