Chang Zi Yi, 17 year old violist from Singapore. She started playing the violin at 3, and viola at 9. She was accepted to School of the Arts Singapore at 13, and is currently pursuing a diploma in Music Performance (Viola) at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Apart from solo performances, Zi Yi enjoys playing in chambers and is also a member of various ensembles. She has been a member of the Singapore National Youth Orchestra since 2022, played in a quartet with Singapore Symphony Orchestra members, and performed with ReSound. Zi Yi has also participated in many music festivals, both locally and overseas, and attended masterclasses with Mr Nikita Pogrebnoy, Professor Kirsten Doctor and Professor Yi-Fang Huang.
