Amber Wang | Third Prize | Piano | 13th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

Twelve-year-old Amber Wang is an exceptionally gifted dual-instrumentalist who has achieved remarkable success as both a violinist and a pianist. She currently refines her artistry at the Colburn School, studying piano with Rodolfo Leone and violin with Ms. Joan Kwuon.

Amber's rare versatility and dedication are highlighted by her outstanding competitive achievements. She recently won First Place in both the violin and piano divisions at the 2026 MACOC Competition and achieved a similar sweep with First Place finishes in both instruments at the John Child Walker Competition. Her exceptional command of the piano was also recognized early on when she was named an Alternate State Finalist for the 2024 Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC) Piano Solo Competition.

Bringing her musicality and leadership to ensemble settings, Amber also serves as a rotating concertmaster for her school orchestra. Her chamber group won Third Place at the 2026 VOCE State Final Competition.
