Belinda Zhu is a twelve-year-old pianist from Powell, Ohio, whose artistry belies her years. A dedicated student of the piano since the age of five, she has built an impressive competition record on state, national, and international stages.
Among her most distinguished honors, Belinda was selected as an official competitor in the 2026 Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition and claimed First Prize at both the 2026 Chicago International Music Competition and the Philadelphia International Piano Competition. She has earned Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizes at the Piano Star International Piano Competition Grand Final, and received the Distinct Award (Group II) at the 31st Szafarnia International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children in Poland. She is also a prize winner in the MTNA Ohio Junior Piano Performance Competition.
Her remarkable talent was recognized early—at just six years old, she was honored with the Judge's Distinct Award at the American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition at Carnegie Hall.
