Edan Leung is a freshman at Mills High School. He began piano at 5 and violin at 6. He studied the violin with Angeline Branson and is currently studying with Zhao Wei. He is a member of the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra and plays in a String Quartet at Gradus Ad Parnassum Music Academy. Edan placed third in the 2023 KAMSA Competition, made his orchestral debut with Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra in 2024, was invited to perform in the Junior Bach Festival in 2024 and 2026, and was awarded Student of the Year in his high school orchestra. Edan is also a competitive swimmer, enjoys reading, skiing, playing table tennis, and camping.
