Jackson He | Second Prize | Piano | 13th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

Jackson He, 14 years old, is an eighth-grade student at Stanford Online High School. He is currently studying with Ms. Jenny Shin, whom he greatly admires. Throughout the years, he has participated in and received recognition from numerous competitions and festivals. Jackson is the Southern Regional Winner of the 2022, 2023, and 2026 MTAC State Solo & Concerto Competition. In 2024, he achieved 3rd Prize and the Taige Wang Best Performance Award for Étude de Concert or Konzertetüden at the XVIII Los Angeles International Liszt Competition. Recently, he also received Second Prize at the 2026 CAPMT State Finals Honors Competition. Jackson is one of the finalists of the 20th Ettlingen International Piano Competition and will participate in the final round in Germany in August.

Furthermore, throughout his musical development, Jackson has cultivated the belief that beyond competitions and accolades, music serves as a powerful medium for empathy, communication, and community engagement. Guided by this perspective, he co-founded the non-profit volunteer organization Hand in Hand, with the goal of sharing music with underserved populations and fostering meaningful connections through performance. Over the past two years, the organization has regularly organized outreach activities at a local senior center, including performances, interactive events, and fundraising initiatives. Through these efforts, Jackson seeks to use music not only as an artistic pursuit but also as a vehicle for service and social impact. This October, Hand in Hand will present a complimentary recital for seniors.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Jackson enjoys reading and spending time with his family, particularly traveling with his brothers.
