Jayden Kim is a 16-year-old violinist who began playing the violin at the age of 5. He studies under the tutelage of Ignace Jang. He is currently a violinist in the Hawaii Youth Symphony I and serves as concertmaster of the Kalani High School Orchestra.
In 2025, Jayden placed 1st in the Hawaii State Music Competition and the Kamuela Concerto Competition. In 2024, he placed 1st in the MTNA Competition. He also placed 1st in the Osaka Hawaii Regional Competition in both 2025 and 2024. Additionally, he placed 3rd in the ENKOR International Music Competition in 2024, and previously placed 1st in the Kamuela Concerto Competition, performing as a soloist with the Kamuela Philharmonic Orchestra in 2021. He also placed 1st in the HMTA Competition in 2022 and 2020, and 1st in the Osaka Hawaii Regional Competition in 2021.
