Jisoo Park is a freshman at Leigh High School and studies violin under Elbert Tsai. She started playing the violin at the age of 9 and has earned numerous awards and honors since then.
She has won first-place awards at both the Silicon Valley Music Competition (2026) and the Charleston International Music Competition (2025) and has received 3rd Prize at the ENKOR International Music Competition (2025). Additionally, she was invited to perform at the Junior Bach Festival (2026). She also earned the Gold with Command Performance Award at the CMEA State Solo & Ensemble Festival (2025). At her middle school, Jisoo was the recipient of the Top 8th Grade Musician Award and the National School Orchestra Award (2025).
Jisoo participated in the California All-State Junior High School String Orchestra (2024) and served as concertmaster of the JHS Concert Orchestra (2025). She also participated in the California All-State High School Symphony Orchestra (2026) and the CODA Honor Orchestra (2025). She was invited to the CMEA Bay Section Orchestra, where she served as principal violinist of Violin II and is the co-founder and principal violinist of the Union Middle School String Ensemble. She participated in the KAMSA Youth Orchestra (2023–2025) and is currently a member of the California Youth Symphony Senior Orchestra.
Outside of violin, Jisoo enjoys playing golf on her high school varsity team and watching movies with her friends and family.
