Kylie Kim is an eighth-grade student at the Orange County School of the Arts who began studying piano at the age of six. She currently studies with Ms. Jenny Shin, whose mentorship continues to inspire and challenge her artistic growth as a young pianist.
Kylie gave her first solo recital at the age of twelve and has earned recognition in numerous regional and international piano competitions. In 2023, she was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall as a competition winner.
Through her musical journey, Kylie has come to believe that music has the power to connect people beyond language and cultural differences. She hopes one day to share what she has learned through music with her community and use it to positively impact others.
