Olivia Jiang | Third Prize | Piano | 13th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

 



Olivia Jiang was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and began playing piano at the age of five. She currently studies with Dr. Ning Lu. Olivia made her orchestral debut on her tenth birthday in 2019 with the American West Symphony at Libby Gardner Hall. Since then, she has appeared as a soloist with orchestras including the Ogden Chamber Orchestra and the Salt Lake Symphony, performing Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in 2025.

Most recently, Olivia competed at the MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) National Finals in Chicago, Illinois as one of seven selected nationwide with her duet partner, representing the winners of the Southwest Division. Her other accolades include First Place at the UMTA Concerto Competition, as well as First Prizes from the American Protégé International Competition, the American Mountain West International Piano Competition, the World Grand Prix International Music Contest (Distinguished Technique Special Award), the Charleston International Music Competition, the Royal Maas International Music Competition, the Ocean Music International Piano Competition, and the Helen Taylor Johannesen International Piano Competition and Festival, among others.

In addition, Olivia performs for the Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation and has appeared on major stages such as Carnegie Hall. She is also a Mundi Project Ambassador and regularly performs at senior centers throughout Utah.

Outside of music, Olivia enjoys playing chess, tennis, and spending time outdoors.
