Tian Yu Tammy Ye began playing piano at the age of seven and currently studies with Dr. Dmitry Rachmanov. A sophomore in the piano program at the Orange County School of the Arts, Tammy has earned numerous awards, including First Prize at the Charleston International Piano Competition, Gold Medal at the Southern California Junior Bach Festival, Silver Medal at the International Keyboard Odyssiad and Festival, Second Prize at the International Concours pour le Grand Prix, and prizes in several Satori Summer Music Festival categories.
She was also the winner of the American Fine Arts Festival and was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall. Tammy has participated in masterclasses with renowned artists such as Dr. Bernadene Blaha, Dr. Rufus Choi, Dr. Olga Kern, and Dr. Oxana Yablonskaya.
Outside of piano, Tammy enjoys playing the cello, reading, and writing.
