Melody Xu is 12 years old, a seventh grader. She is currently studying under Ms. Sueanne Metz. At age three and a half she fell in love with classical music listening to the radio. Since then she has devoted herself to the musical world. Melody is prize winner of Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition, Polish Fest Chopin Youth Piano Competition, Chopin International Piano Competition in Hartford, Connecticut, Rising Talents of America festival, and many more, along with being invited to play at Carnegie Hall. Melody loves to play and listen to music, read fantasy books, and socialize with her friends.
