Ryan Har, 14, is a scholarship student at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music’s Pre-College Division and is studying cello under Eric Sung and chamber music with Professor Timothy Bach. In addition, Ryan has taken masterclasses from cellist Ben Hong at the United States International Music Competition Festival. His trio recently performed at the Concerts at the Presidio chamber series. Prior to that he performed at the SFCM Classical Kick-Off Weekend and his trio was awarded first place at the Diablo Valley College/Holy Names University Young Artists String Competition in early 2016. He participated in the Korean-American Music Supporters' Association Youth Symphony Orchestra in the late summer of 2014 and won first prize in his division at the Korean Times Youth Music Competition in 2011. He is currently a freshman at Stanford Online High School, holds a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and enjoys math.
