Abigail Leong, age 14, studies cello with Jonathan Koh. She made her debut at Carnegie Hall with the Saint-Saens Cello Concerto at age ten. She currently studies chamber music with the Young Chamber Musicians. This year Abigail won first place at MTNA state, VOCE state, the Pacific Musical Society and the Burlingame Music Club competitions. Previously she had won two first place awards from the United States International Music Competition and was selected as a Fremont Symphony Orchestra Young Recitalist. She was also selected as a soloist at the Junior Bach Festival at age ten. Abigail's greatest joy is to share music with others. She also loves dancing modern, jazz, and tap dances in her spare time.
