Jammie Lee developed an early interest in piano in South Korea and has continued his piano career with notable mentors including Dr. Lawrence Jones and Dr. Kyung Kim. Presently a 17-year-old high school student in Brandon, Manitoba, Jammie was the recipient of numerous awards and prizes in national and international competitions. He recently received third place at the 2016 Canadian National Music Festival held in Edmonton and was the second prize winner in the international ENKOR Competition in the age category 11 to 15 years in 2015. He was the youngest winner ever of the Western Financial Group Tudor Bowl as the most outstanding senior pianist in the 2015 Brandon Festival of the Arts. He has previously placed second nationally in his age category in the National Finals of the 2010 Canadian Music Competition. Before immigrating to Canada, Jammie was enrolled in the prestigious Musical Academy for gifted children at the Seoul Arts Centre.
