Timothy Liang has been studying piano for 7 years now with Jie and Ning Lu.
His awards include 1st place in the 2017 USU concerto competition, 2nd in 2014 Summer arts solo competition, and 3rd in the UMTA concerto competition in 2016. He was selected to play with the Salt Lake Symphony and the American Fork symphony in 2017. He also earned 1st place in the 2017 U of U Summer arts piano solo competition, and honorable mention in the 2017 NMTA State competition. His most recent awards were 1st in the Great Composers 2017 Beethoven piano competition, and 2nd in the American Fine Arts Concerto Competition.
