William Suwandi, 14, has been playing violin since he was 7 years old. He has participated in various competitions and recitals. He has won awards in competitions such as MTAC Complete Work of Southern California Junior Bach Festival, Bach competition at Antelope Valley Symphony Orchestra & Master Chorale, Soutwestern Youth Music Festival, MTAC VOCE Competition, Satori Strings Contest, Southwest Bach Festival, Great Composer Competition, American Protege Concerto Competition. He made his debut at Carnegie Hall in December 2017. William also made his solo debut with Symphony of the Canyon Orchestra in 2017 under Dr Paul Sherman. William serves as concertmaster at Los Angeles Youth Orchestra and Symphony of the Canyon Orchestra. He is also a member of the California State’s All State Orchestra for 3 consecutive years.
