The Pike String Quartet was formed in the Fall of 2018. The members are Maxwell Fairman (14), Christopher Vonderschmidt (15), Ari Webb (13), and Loxea Hipsky (14). The Pike Quartet members have received awards in the International American Protegé, Cleveland Cello Society, Marilyn Walters, Ohio MTNA Competitions among others. As members of the Peraza Music Workshop Ensemble, they have performed at Carnegie Hall, Chicago Orchestra Hall, Strathmore Hall, and Cincinnati Music Hall. They have participated in Festivals such as Center Stage at UM, Sphinx Performance Academy, Credo Festival, Interlochen among others.
