Camila Blank is an ambitious and joyful 13 year-old, who asked for violin lessons at age 7. She lives in Los Angeles, California where she is attends the Archer School for Girls and is actively involved in the tennis and math teams and focused on promoting future female leadership. She is the concertmaster and soloist for her school’s orchestra and was selected to participated in the 2019 CASMEC/CODA Junior High All-State Honors Orchestra. Camila’s most recent violin solo accomplishments include: The 2019 First Place Winner of the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition, participating in the 2019 Masterclass with Martin Chalifour of the LA Philharmonic, a 2019 scholarship recipient of the Montecito International Music Festival, the 2018 Grand Prize Winner of the Colibri International Music Competition, a 2018 Scholarship Recipient of the Westside Committee of the LA Philharmonic and the 2018 Masterclass with Brian Thornton of the Cleveland Orchestra. Camila will be performing this coming summer at the Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall.
