Daniel Strebulaev | 2nd Prize | Piano | 6th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

Daniel has been in love with music since very early age and started playing the piano at the age of 4. He had studied at the Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) in the San Francisco Bay Area of California with Ludmila Kurtova. Since the beginning of 2019 he has been a student of Erna Gulabyan. Daniel has recently passed with distinction the 7th grade exam of the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABSRM).

Daniel has recently received the 1st prize at the Virtuoso international Music Competition as well as the 1st prize at the Golden Era of Romantic Music international piano competition for his interpretation of a Rachmaninoff's Waltz. He performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London in April of 2019 and was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City and at the Robert Schumann museum in Germany.

Daniel loves playing Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, and Chopin. He also loves composing music. When not at his beloved piano, Daniel practices his ballet skills, builds Lego cities, and improves his biking capabilities. His life is enlightened by having a loving and talented younger sister, Elizabeth, who, at 7 years of age, is also an accomplished pianist.
