Elizabeth is a sophomore at Ardsley High School, where she is co-concertmaster of the Chamber Orchestra and the founder and president of the Music Outreach Club. She has been playing the violin for eight years and currently studies with Elizabeth Faidley at the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Division. Elizabeth has won numerous competitions for her violin performance, including soloing recently with the Yonkers Philharmonic Orchestra, and she has performed at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, and Symphony Space. She has also performed in masterclasses with Ray Chen, Twoset Violin, Aaron Rosand, and Lisa Batiashvili. In her freetime, Elizabeth is a delegate for Model UN and enjoys writing book reviews on her blog.
