Joshua Facello, 17, is from Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
He has worked with Joseph Lin (Julliard), Kevork Mardirossian (Indiana University) and Anne Akiko-Meyers. Joshua has soloed with and served as concertmaster of both the Duke University String School Youth Symphony as well as the Mallarmé Youth Chamber Orchestra.
Joshua has earned recognition in several international competitions including First Prize in the Junior category of the American Protégé Piano and Strings Competition and Third prize at the American Fine Arts Festival Concerto Competition. He has soloed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Baldwin Auditorium at Duke University and Hill Hall at UNC-Chapel Hill. Joshua has participated in the Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival at East Carolina University as well as Eastern Music Festival where he served as assistant
concertmaster of the Eastern Symphony Orchestra.
Joshua currently studies with Professor Fabian Lopez (University of North Carolina, Greensboro, NC, USA).
