Lucas Chang Diep | 3rd Prize | Piano | 6th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Lucas Diep age 10, was born in Melbourne, Australia and currently resides in Singapore. Lucas wishes to be able to play beautiful music and enjoy playing the piano as a life long passion.

Lucas began to play the piano 3 years ago, under the tutelage of Ms. Christine Gan Siew Hui. Over the years, Lucas won the First Prize at the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition Fall 2016, he made his debut at the Carnegie Hall, New York in July 2017. In addition, Lucas was awarded First Prize for his solo and his duet, at the Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition 2017, he performed at the Mozarteum, Salzburg in July 2017. Lucas performed his solo, duet, and he also worked with the conductor, Prof. Kazimierz Brzozowski, to perform concerto with the Festival Chamber Orchestra at the International Piano Festival, Chopin’s Homeland at Naleczow, Poland, in July 2017.

In year 2018, Lucas took part in the Singapore Piano Island Festival 2018. Lucas also performed at the National Gallery Singapore; National Museum of Singapore; the Young Talent Concert at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, the Rising Star Young Talent Concert at Steinway Gallery, the piano recital at Kawai Recital Hall, Bach Subway and Steinway Piano Marathon.
