Ezekiel Sokoloff is a Dorothy Richard Starling Scholarship recipient as a Conservatory student at the Gifted Music School in Salt Lake City, Utah. He made his solo orchestral debut with the Utah Symphony at age 12. He was the National Winner for the Junior Strings Division of the MTNA in 2019. He is the 2020 Junior string division winner for both solo violin and ensemble for the Utah Symphony Youth Guild. He has performed in Masterclasses with Midori Goto (Curtis), Simon James (San Fransisco Conservatory), Laurie Smukler (Juilliard), Ian Swensen (San Fransisco Conservatory), Masao Kawasaki (Juilliard).
His teacher is Eugene Watanabe.
