Celina Chen | 2nd Prize | Strings | 6th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

 


Celina Chen is a sophomore attending Valley Christian High School. She has a  passion for music, as she is a singer-songwriter and a cellist. She finds joy in sharing music with others, as she believes that it is a gift that should be shared with everyone. As a cellist, she has done solo, chamber music, and orchestra type performances. She has played in a professional studio for an album recording, and has won numerous awards in competitions such as Cal-ASTA, DVC/HNU, KAMSA, and American Protege. She has received a “Command Performance” solo award from ACSI. Outside of cello playing, she delights in singing, as she has won awards in vocal competitions and was a selected soloist at the Western Division All State Honors Choir. Outside of music, Celina enjoys writing poetry and taking walks.
