Claire Doh | 2nd Prize | Strings | 6th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

 


Claire Doh, age 14, is a freshman at Newport High School in Bellevue, WA. She began piano studies at age 5 & cello studies at age 7. Recently, Claire has received an Honorable Mention in the Washington State Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). In the past, she has received several awards in the Solo and Concerto sections in the Performing Arts Festival of the Eastside (PAFE), and the Seal of Recognition in the Complete Program of the Seattle Young Artists Music Festival (SYAMF). Furthermore, she has been selected as a member of the Jr. All State Orchestra for the past 2 years. Claire has also distinguished herself in a string quartet, Sinfonia Quartet, for 1.5 years, participating in several local events. Presently, she is in her 5th year with Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra. She is the section leader of her school’s orchestra and enjoys playing music with her friends. Claire is part of her school’s Music 4 Everyone club, where she performs music for seniors. She currently studies with Julie Cho.
