Garrett Blosen | 2nd Prize | Strings | 6th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

 


Garrett Blosen enjoys playing musical instruments especially the cello, piano, and percussion. He has won multiple awards, including 1st place in the AFAF International Concerto Competition, KAMSA, and DVC/HNU in 2020, and prior to that the San Francisco Youth Talent Competition, American Protégé, Golden Key International, US Open, VOCE, Heritage Festival, ENKOR, GCC, Junior Bach Festival, and the American Fine Arts Festival competitions. He has performed at Carnegie Hall and has been invited to Lincoln Center. Garrett currently studies cello with Jonathan Koh.  He studies chamber music at the California Music Preparatory Academy.  As part of the Irregular Om chamber group, he won the ENKOR, US Open and VOCE competitions. He also was a member of the El Camino Youth Symphony.  He enjoys sharing his talents with others through participating in regular community service and uses music as a way to relax. In addition to music, he competes in both sailing and robotics at the world championship level.
