Alec Lamb | 2nd Prize | Winds & Percussion | 7th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Percussionist Alec Lamb is a student of percussion pursuing his Bachelors in Music Education and Performance at Truman State University in Kirksville, MO, under Michael Bump. Alec recently took first place in the 2021 Mid-Missouri Percussion Arts Trophy collegiate marimba competition, as well as first place in the collegiate duet competition, performing Merlin by Andrew Thomas and Khamsin by Emmanuel Séjourné, respectively. In addition, Alec was a winner of the 2019 Truman State University Gold Medal concerto competition, performing the Creston Concertino for Marimba, but sadly was unable to perform due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. 

Alec plans to be a teacher in the future, and hopes to perform alongside his education career.
