Anna Micor has played the flute for over 7 years. She has been a member of the Schaumburg Youth Orchestra for over 4 years. She competed in the Animado Events virtual 2021 competition and was awarded a scholarship. She recently competed in the ISMTA virtual competition and was announced as a winner. She has performed at the ILMEA district level concerts for 3 years total. In the 2021 ILMEA district experience, she was 1st chair piccolo player and qualified for flute as well. She was accepted for the ILMEA All-State masterclass in 2021. Her band performed at the Super State festivals in 2017 and 2018. She studies music privately with Mary Christine - Stingley, and has done so for over 4 years. She is passionate about telling stories through music, and enjoys performing for patients at the hospital in her free time.
