Aidan Fu is 12 years old and studies violin with Professor Lorenz Gamma of CSUN. He previously studied violin at the Colburn School. Aidan started violin at 2½ years old. He made his debut with the Thousand Oaks Philharmonic at age 7 and has soloed with them for 4 years. Aidan has won awards from Classics Alive Young Artists, the SCJBF Complete Works Audition, and the Southwestern Youth Music Festival. He has been awarded a scholarship from the Westside Committee of the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He has won multiple awards of the ASTA Los Angeles finals. He was the 2nd place winner for the California State Solo Competition in 2020.
