Linda Wang was a scholarship recipient as a Conservatory student at the Music Institute of Chicago’s Academy where she studies violin with Almita Vamos. Linda made her solo orchestral debut with the Oistrakh Symphony of Chicago at age 14, as the winner of the DePaul Concerto Competition. She has been an award recipient in many other music competitions, including the Crain Maling Chicago Symphony Orchestra Young Artists Competition, MTNA State and East Central Division, American Protégé International Competition, and the Golden Classical Music International Competition. In the past she was also accepted into the Bowdoin International Music Festival, Heifetz International Music Institute, and Tanglewood Young Artists Orchestra with scholarships. Linda's chamber group, the Infini String Quartet, won Honorable Mention at the Discover National Chamber Music Competition and was featured on 98.7 WFMT’s Introductions in 2020.
