Violist Andrew Ahn, 16, attends Menlo Atherton High School. He began music with violin at age 5, studying with Davis Law. In 2016, he entered the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre College Division as a violist where he currently studies with Pei-Ling Lin, and is a current member of Young Chamber Musicians. Andrew has won multiple awards including 1st place Silicon Valley Music Competition 2020, 3rd place USIMC 2020, and 2nd place KAMSA 2021. He also participated in the 2021 California All-State High school Symphony orchestra and attended the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in 2020 and Bowdoin Summer Music Festival in 2021.
