Elishia Yeung (16) is the Champion of the 2020 Outstanding Young Ambassador Awards in the Arts and Performance Category - VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation, Canada. She started playing piano at 4 and harp at 6. Currently, she is at ARCT diploma level for both instruments.
Elishia has performed for numerous international music festivals including the AGM of the Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festival, Winners Gala Concert in Fraser Valley Kiwanis Festival, and in the World Harp Congress in both Sydney and Hong Kong. She also likes to participate in charity events and was invited to perform for the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Foundation, Social Diversity For Children, and The Children's Cancer Foundation.
In 2019, Elishia was invited to perform at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York and The Orpheum in Vancouver. She is the Grand Prize Winner of the 21st Century Talents Music Competition and Rocky Mountain Music Competition; Platinum First Prize Winner of the Canadian International Music Competition and the Quebec Music Competition; the Champion of the 11th Serbia International Music Competition, London Young Musician Competition, and Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition. Elishia is also the scholarship recipient of the Best Performance of a Canadian Composition of the Vancouver International Music Competition, Emerging Young Artist Scholarship, and the Most Promising Harp Student Scholarship.
