Annie Li is from the USA who started playing piano when she was six. She currently studies with Professor Martha Wasley and Professor Corey Mcvicar, after her previous studies with teacher Jenny Shin. She has won various prizes, including being a winner of the National YoungArts Competition in 2020 and 2022, 1st place at the Bradshaw & Bruno International Competition in both 2016, 2018, and 202, 1st place at the American Protege International Piano Competition in 2019, 2nd & 3rd place at the Enkor International Piano Competition in 2019 and 2020, 2nd place in the California Piano State Solo Competition, 1st in the MTAC State Piano Solo Competition Southern Region in 2018, 1st at Southwestern Young Musician Festival (SYMF), and 1st at the California MTAC Scholarship Competition. Annie was also a winner in the Los Angeles Liszt International Competition in both 2016 and 2018, as well as the Los Angeles Young Musician International Competition. She was a gold medalist in the Southern California Junior Bach Festival Complete Work Audition (SCJBF) and the AADGT International Young Musician Competition, as well as many other achievements. In addition, Annie has had master classes with John Perry, Gila Goldstein, Frederick Chiu, and Allen Chow. Aside from her musical accomplishments, she also excels in academics. In her spare time, Annie enjoys singing, dancing, swimming, traveling, and doing community service.
