When Aya was 6 years old, she was selected to be in a non profit charity event called Kidz for a Cause and played in a fundraising concert for the Kids Justice Center playing piano and singing, “Let it go” at the Hawaii Theater on a Grand Piano. Aya studies piano with Mr. Steven Casano at Punahou Music School. At 10 years of age, Aya entered her first piano competition 2019 Steinway Junior Piano Competition and received 1st Prize. In March 2020, Aya received 1st Prize for International Music Competition Best Chopin Performance, 1st Prize for International Music Competition Best Bach Performance, and 1st Prize in Rising Talent of Americas from GCC. August 2021 and 2022 she received 1st Prize in Osaka International Music Competition for Hawai’i Regional Round. March 2022, Hawaii State Music Competition, she received 1st Prize. In her free time, Aya enjoys Tap, Hula, Japanese tea ceremony, and golf.
