Daniel Strebulaev | 3rd Prize | Piano | 9th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition

Daniel has been in love with music since very early age and started playing the piano at the age of 4. Since the beginning of 2019 he has been a student of Erna Gulabyan.  Daniel passed with distinction the 8th grade exam of the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABSRM).

Daniel is a Junior Division winner at the 2021 Marilyn Mindell Piano Competition. He won the first prize at the 2020 California CAPMT Concerto Competition for his interpretation of the Mozart's piano Concerto no 12 which he also performed with the Moscow Youth Orchestra. He also won and received prizes at many other national and international competitions.

Daniel is passionate about supporting social causes. He played a charity solo one-hour long recital featuring all the eras of the classical music, during which he collected over $15,000 to support the safe insulin delivery for children with Type 1 Diabetes around the globe from underprivileged backgrounds.

Daniel loves playing Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Debussy, and Scriabin. He also loves composing music. His life is enlightened by having a loving and talented younger sister, Elizabeth, who, at 10 years of age, is also an accomplished pianist.
