Jonathan Szeto is an 8th grade student at the Harker School in San Jose, CA. He has been studying piano with Ms. Natalia Hanukai since he was four and a half years old.
As a pianist, Jonathan has won first prizes at the Pacific Music Society Music Competition, Orbetello Piano Competition, Thera Rabinowitch Memorial Piano Competition, United States Open Music Competition, American Fine Arts Festival with performance at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, and second prizes at Korean American Music Supporters Association Competition, Great Composers Competition, and U.S. International Music Competition. He also studied with Professor Antonio Pompa-Baldi as a participant of San Jose Piano Competition's summer workshop.
Besides playing the piano, Jonathan enjoys playing the violin, soccer, swimming, and studying science.
