Irene has been studying piano with Ms. Erna Gulabyan, Professor John McCarthy and she is currently a SFCM Pre-College student under Professor Sandra Shen.
She has won prizes at various competitions including the Marilyn Mindell Piano Competition, CAPMT Honors Competition, USIMC (Young artist, Bach, Mozart Category), Bellagrande International Music Competition, US New Star Piano Competition, American Protege, Enkor, USOMC (showcase and concerto categories), and Junior Bach Competition.
Irene has taken master classes with Dmitry Rachmanov, James Giles, Joseph Rackers, Dmitri Vorobiev, Alexander Braginsky and Gregg Pauley and has attended the Vivace Music Foundation in the summer of 2021.
Irene also enjoys playing chamber music with her piano trio at SFCM.
