Sarah Traphagan | 3rd Prize | Voice | 8th Edition | ENKOR Int'l Music Competition


Sarah Traphagan is 17 years old and she goes to Anderson High School. She has been classically trained at Dr. Stella Yoon’s Vocal Studio since 2018 and has also studied at the Boston Conservatory of Music, the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, and the Colorado Vocal Institute. She has appeared in several Broadway Musical productions such as Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors at the Adderly Musical Theater, Maria in West Side Story at the Broadway/Opera Nights, and Eponine in Les Misérables at the Broadway/Opera Nights. In 2019, Sarah performed the “Sull’aria” as Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart. 

Sarah was a member of Conspirare Youth Choir and Austin Girls Choir during 2012-2016 seasons. Also, she worked for Joshua’s Stage assisting in theater program for autistic children in 2018. Sarah has excellent language skills: she speaks Japanese fluently and her Latin and Spanish are great as well. She also has studied piano since 2010.

Sarah loves singing, playing piano, acting, and traveling, and will continue to pursue her dream as an international opera singer.
