Alice Siqi Wan, 14, a 9th grader in NJ, US, started learning piano when she was 5. Since she became a piano student of Dr. Stella Xu, Alice has won 1st place in the 2021 NJMTA Young Musicians Competition; Grand Prize in 2022 National League of Performing Arts International Young Artists Competition and her performance at Carnegie Weill Hall was successfully received. In 2022, Alice won the first place of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) junior level piano performance competition in New Jersey State . After being named the New Jersey winner/representative, she advance to Eastern Division competition and earned the second place honors. In 2023 spring, she won 1st place of age 15 solo in the Music Educator’s Association of New Jersey 53rd Annual piano competition. Besides the passion towards classical music, She enjoys creative writing and cross country running.
