Lyra has been enrolled in SFCM precollege program studying piano and cello since 8. She started learning piano at 4 and cello at 5. Her first two years of cello learning was mostly through online lessons due to Covid. She is currently studying with Vicky Wang and Elliot Mallard. While Lyra never participated in any cello competitions before (this is her first one), she has won several piano competitions including second prize in ENKOR 2023.
