Roan Holmes has been playing classical guitar for over 11 years. He previously studied under Dr. David Chapman and is currently studying with Scott Cmiel at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Precollege Program. He has won several awards including 4th place in the Stanislaus State University Guitarraganza Competition, the Bay Area Creative Youth awards, and 2nd place in the Guitar Society of Montreal Next Generation Guitar Competition. He is a junior in high school at The Athenian School and lives in Livermore CA. When not playing guitar, he is a competitive runner in cross country and track.
