Kang Kai was admitted to Shenzhen Art School in 2019 and studied with Professor Tao Ran at the age of 12. In 2023, he was admitted to Zhejiang Conservatory of Music and followed Professor Dong Dejun; Won first prize at the 4th Hong Kong International Music Festival in 2017; Won the second prize in the final of the Shenzhen division of the 3rd C&W International Music Competition in 2019; Won a gold medal in the 2020 IMAARTS Music and Art Festival City Selection Competition; Won the second prize in Group A of the second National Youth Online Clarinet Competition in 2022; Received the Honorary Gold Award in Group E of the Solo Professional at the 2022 Singapore International Instrumental Solo Competition&Ensemble Competition. 2023 Clara Schumann International Music Competition Youth Group B First Place
