Claire Choi is currently a sophomore at Valley Christian High School and started playing violin in 2nd grade. During the past two summers, she attended the Heifetz Institute Junior Division and the Tanglewood Institute Violin Workshop. She has won awards in various music competitions such as USOMC, KAMSA, ENKOR, and the Silicon Valley Music Competition. Her orchestral experience includes participating in the All-State high school Symphonic Orchestra in 2023, and two years as a first violinist in California Youth Symphony’s Senior Orchestra. Claire is also an active volunteer, participating in KAMSA Youth Orchestra as a co-concertmaster and the Hopebox Charity Youth Orchestra as well.
