Alvin Lee has been studying the viola for eight years. He performs with the Maryland Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and is a member of the Maryland Senior All-State Orchestra. He won first prize in the 2022 Young Musicians Inspiring Change International Competition and received honorable mentions in both the 2023 and 2024 U.S. Army Orchestra Young Artist Competitions. He was also invited to participate in the U.S. Army Orchestra’s side-by-side concert. Additionally, Alvin won second prize in the 2023 American Virtuoso International Music Competition and the 2023 American Fine Arts Festival, earning invitations to perform at Carnegie Hall multiple times. He hopes to continue his music education and grow as both a musician and a violist.
