Hannelle Yang is a junior at Campbell Hall High School. She has been a member of the All-State Wind Symphony for three consecutive years and has performed at Disney Hall with the Los Angeles Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also won multiple awards in competitions, including the Gold Prize in the Cambridge Music Competition, Second Place in the American Protégé International Music Competition at Carnegie Hall, and First Prize in the Music Teachers Association of California Scholarship Competition. She has also been featured as a concerto soloist in the Chamber Music Series at Colburn and performed the Mozart Flute Concerto with the Los Angeles Youth Philharmonic Orchestra. Hannelle studies flute with Dr. Jennifer Jo and previously studied with Dr. Hye Sung Choe.
